Cold season, warm welcome

While Paris is suffering from one of the coldest winters in the decade (Yesterday was pretty – today was pretty hard…), we are welcoming new members in the team. In the beginning of 2018 Wen Congmin, joins us for her master 2 internship — and will stay with us for the following 5 months.

A double-master student, she majors in Electronic and Information School of South China University of Technology (SCUT) and University of Nantes — *accidentally*, very similar to our researcher Jiazi Yi. Of course, we are expecting her to have more exciting research results than the “old ones”.

For her 5-month stay at X, she will work on low-power wide area networks, trying to improve the performance of LoRa.

Other than Congmin, we are expecting Lyu Cheng (from SJTU — Shanghai Jiaotong University) and Martin Velasco (ENSTA) to join us as interns later in the spring. As Confucius said:

How happy we are, To meet friends from afar!
